Short Film "A CURTA"
This Project was made while I was in Paris, work with Anna Rudyakova to create this suspense, funniest scary short. The main story was about 2 characters working on a script to a film and that everything comes to the conclusion that is still a film, with a double twist at the end where people get the punchline where they are writing a story but a second twist appears when the audience realizes they are in the same context as the idea they are writing.
Inspiration and Concept
The idea come from the fact that films shape life in many ways but in the end the stories you tell are not that far away from the reality.
And that happens when the viewer realises its all just made up and that the characters are in the same world as the viewer, when in fact, this world is about to be thrown again into the story land at the last moment.
But about the demon parts, I don't really believe in Demons, at least not the ones with green faces, but the ones that exist do have big mouths.

Created using a Dslr, a crappy laptop (vfx was painful on this one), free sound library , a pen, a notebook, an awesome place that we knew that we had to make some kinda of film in it, 2 people that had a cool idea, and a lot of ideas how to tell a somewhat visual story whit some build up for the final.
We also had a cool door that made the creaky noise all by itself! Good job door. (2:45)
Super stressful and always a bit disappointing on what your imagination can think off and what you are capable of doing.
We did this on a rush but we tried to put some funny moment like getting all the keys of the basket and get the last one, and where we need to create confusion and suspense on the alley to the final impact using the reflection on the mirror to trows off the viewer. "A Curta" was somewhat what we wanted, with more work, better material and more time we could have made a better one, but i guess there is a moment were we just have to call it, and go to other projects.
